Beading Classes at Nordic Star

Upcoming Schedule
Class Descriptions

Always wanted to learn how to create your own jewellery? Now is the perfect opportunity! While the weather is optimal for working indoors, why not register for a beading class with us? By the end of every 2-hour class, you should be walking away with a finished necklace, bracelet, or a few pairs of earrings, as well as the knowledge needed to make further pieces.

You are welcome to bring along your own tools to the class, or can use ours. We will be working with delicate materials, so using the proper tools is important.

The price of each course consists of a $45 charge for the class plus the cost of materials. The materials consist of the thread or wire, beads and clasps required to complete the piece. Each course will have a set piece to be assembled in class. You can then go on to create your own individual masterpieces at home.

Advance registration is required so that we can order the required amount of materials. We are keeping classes small, so payment is required upon registration (this can be done by Credit Card over the phone) to reserve your place. Kit fees and any tools you may want to purchase can be done on the day of your class. Saturday classes are grouped together so that you can learn the basic method in the morning and then have a nice lunch and do some Mill St. shopping before returning for the next step in that technique that afternoon.

If you can’t make it to our classes this winter, let us know what you are interested in and we’ll be in touch when future classes are offered.

… And you are always welcome to simply drop in and purchase a finished piece or work with me to develop your own custom design.
